Discover the beaches and landmarks around Queen Beach Resort

The Most Beautiful Sandy Beaches in Croatia
The sandy beaches around the resort are among the longest and most beautiful in all of Croatia. They stretch for 8 km along the shores of a tranquil bay. They are renowned for their gentle entry into the sea, which is crystal clear and pleasantly warm. It is appreciated not only by parents with children but also by seniors. The most famous is Queen's Beach, which is a 5-minute walk from the apartment. It measures 3 km and was named after the first queen of Croatia. According to legend, she enjoyed the beautiful views of the Velebit mountains, which rise in the distance above the sea, during her regular visits. Currently, the beaches also offer a variety of sports activities – kitesurfing is particularly popular.

Royal Town of Nin in a Romantic Bay
The town of Nin played a significant role in Croatian history. Its history dates back to the Roman Empire, from which the ruins of the Temple of Diana with a 17-meter high Corinthian column originate. In the Middle Ages, Nin became the first royal town and the seat of the bishop. Near the royal palace, you will find the Church of the Holy Cross from the 9th century – the smallest cathedral in the world. You will also be enchanted by the bishop's palace or the Church of St. Anselm. The preserved parts of the massive medieval fortifications also invite you for walks. The historic center of the town is located on an islet, which has a diameter of only 500 meters and offers beautiful views of the bay.

Shops, restaurants, and cafes around the corner
In the vicinity of Queen Beach Resort, there is no shortage of good food. You can choose from many local restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, and stores. A walk to the nearest ones takes no more than 5 minutes. You can leave your car at home and enjoy a glass of good red wine from Dalmatia.

Natural Healing Mud Just a Step Away
Many people head to the bay for peloid mud, which helps treat atopic eczema and other skin issues. You can reach the brackish lakes and wetlands, where a modern rehabilitation resort is planned for the future, from the apartments in 5 minutes.

Cultural and Natural Landmarks in the Surroundings
Just a 20-minute drive away is the city of Zadar, which boasts a number of medieval landmarks. The nearby island of Pag with its beautiful beaches is also worth a visit. Breathtaking views of rocky mountains, deep canyons, and blooming mountain meadows await you in the nearby national parks of Northern Velebit and Paklenica – there is simply always something to discover in Dalmatia!
